Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat was designed to use a gradient yarn, pulling one strand from the inside of the cake and one strand from the outside. The colors meld together and meet in the middle for a pretty marled gradient.

This pencil pouch is a great introduction on how to line a knitted bag. With both simple machine and hand-sewing techniques, it will expand your skills beyond knitting! It also makes a great gift, and has tons of room for customization! It’s great for using up leftover partial balls of yarn, as well.

Briochey is a single-color brioche stitch hat that has a slouchy fit and will keep you warm, despite it being deceptively light-weight. Kureopatora is a soft fluffy wool with fun color changes, and brioche stitch is satisfying and fun to knit. This is a great hat to practice your brioche stitch skills with.

These are made with a good work-horse yarn - Rowan Pure Wool Worsted. Pure Wool Worsted is a superwash wool, which means that these won’t felt and you can machine wash them. The stitch pattern on the back of the hand is simple to knit, and creates a fun texture. You can whip up a pair of these in a few evenings, and they would make a great gift!

I bought 1 skein of Techno while on my Honeymoon and knit this quick hat, wanting to use up the whole skein. It can be worn pulled back on the head and slouchy, or fold up the brim and wear it like a beanie.

Kalorama is two patterns in one, a slouchy version that is a little fuller and longer with a double thick fold-under brim, and a beanie version that fits closer on the head. The Horseshoe lace shows off the gorgeous texture of the yarn without being overly complicated.

Rock out in cool headgear. Good for keeping the Bangs out of your eyes or showing them off. These patterns can be knit with any wieght yarn or needles, because you just work until it’s long enough, you can make it any width. There is a knitted and crocheted version.

This hat is knit so that the side that shows when you wear it is in Reverse Stockinette. But, when I was designing it, I didn’t want to have to purl that much, so I made it so you knit it, then turn it inside out to wear.
