Knitting: Vest
This vest was created because I loved the texture of this stitch pattern. The textured front is knit using twisted stitches, and the back is plain stockinette. To reinforce the sides and provide structural stability, slipped stitches and broken ribbing are used. A split hem of broken ribbing adds decoration, and you have the option to use eithe...

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The name “Kinsmen” is inspired by the long lines of knit stitches, which all branch from the same starting point at the top of the shawl, much like a family tree. Additionally, as the theme for the 2025 Fluff and Nonsense Advent was inspired by JRR Tolkien’s “The Hobbit”, wherein most of the dwarves in the tale are related to one another, “Kins...

Knitting: Cowl
This pattern is part of The Bendigo Project 2025 and will be published on Saturday 8th of March 2025.

Knitting: Ankle Sock
This gorgeous, cabled pair of socks looks complex but is actually deceptively easy. Elegant textures are paired with a simple cable to embody feelings of comfort and mindfulness. Designed to be knit cuff down, these socks feature an Eye of Partridge Heel, a twinned cable running from the cuff to the ankle, and a four-round pattern repeat.

Knitting: Pullover
This drop shoulder textured jumper is an exercise in mindfulness and calm. While it looks complex, the pattern consists of only 4 short charts, arranged to set up a central cabled braid, surrounded by right and left sided cables.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This pair of socks has been designed based on the premise that Socks Shouldn’t Be Difficult. If you like to knit round things using Magic Loop, go for it. If you prefer double pointed needles, use those instead! Whatever you find to be the easiest way to handle your yarn, is most important here.
