In the spring of 2016, The Knit Cafe announced their very first yarn club. The idea was to marry The Knit Cafe’s original knitting pattern ideas with really unique yarns. Each yarn would be chosen to suit each knit project perfectly. Yarn Club members received 6 projects throughout the year for a whole year of knitting fun.
Now, all 6 patterns can be found together in one book! A great basic sock pattern, a pretty spring shawl, a stylish toque for all head sizes, a reversible cowl, colourful mittens, and an adorable toy monkey project come with detailed knit pattern instructions and lots of tips and extras. Included in the book is a pompom making tutorial, instructions on how to make a mitten liner, a short row tutorial and lots of helpful hints for new and experienced knitters.
Along with the patterns are introductions to some of Canada’s best and brightest yarn designers.
