There are many ways to be creative. For most of you reading this, knitting is your way—or one of your ways of expressing creativity. The creative side of me has long been captivated by the work and artistry of the artist couple Morten Løfberg and Ida Noack, ever since I first encountered them at an art and crafts fair some years ago. I am absolutely enchanted by their colourful world, which is at once imaginative, playful, precise, and often with a message. The businesswoman in me is fascinated by how Løfberg and Noack make their art accessible to many, creating a creative livelihood by selling their work in countless ways: original pieces, art prints, coffee mugs, bath towels, bed linens, postcards, jewellery, Christmas ornaments, hangings, and more. I dreamed of seeing their creative ideas interpreted in knitwear, and luckily, Løfberg and Noack embraced the idea of a collection inspired by their work. As a true fangirl, I hope you’ll dive into the whimsical works of Løfberg and Noack, here reimagined in our yarn. Nanna Gudmand-Høyer Owner, Filcolana
