This is a collection of five monster patterns for your knitting pleasure.
As children we fear the darkness lurking under the bed, in corners or in closets, imagining monsters. As we grow older we learn to fear the darkness in the corners of our souls. This darkness too is populated by monsters.
Soul Monsters are of a different kind though. They paralyze us, they scream and bite, but in their, surprisingly big, hearts they only have the best intentions. Our monsters care for us and want only to keep us safe.
If we dare meet them and look them in their wonky eyes, we will see that they aren‘t all that bad. Actually they are quite cute and funny. When we take the time to talk to them they can turn into our biggest allies.
To this purpose I give you these knitting patterns. Give your monsters form! Knit yourself an ally! Hide them in the corners of your children‘s room and let them discover that the monster hiding there is actually soft and cute! Have fun! Play! Because play makes everything better.
Ps.: Some monsters like cookies, but not all of them.
