Both Colourpop and Diagonal are seamless top-down cardigans, in worsted weight yarn, sharing the same construction: They start with a raglan yoke that is worked without fronts. When the yoke is completed, stitches for the fronts are picked up along the front sides of the sleeves. The fronts are worked diagonally, and are shaped with increases at the sides and decreases in the centre. This lifts centre fronts, making them shorter than the sides and back. Hip shaping at the back widens lower body. Diagonal is designed to be worn open - the front bands do not overlap, while Colourpop has wider fronts and can be buttoned up.
Wellwater Hat and Frost Doodles combine lace and cables creating interesting textures. Both are worked bottom up, starting with provisional cast-on. When the provisional cast-on is removed, the brim is finished with an attractive stretchy bind-off. There are two sizes: the smaller size fits a child with up to 53 cm/21 in head (approximately 3-10 years), the larger size fits an average adult head.
