Better Together: Flirtations with Brioche is a 4 pattern collection exploring the cross section of Brioche and other knitting techniques. Beam me up Scotty uses garter stitch along with Brioche to create a scrumptious cowl that can be tucked under a coat and buttoned up. Or left open and folded down in a variety of ways. Vitamin B, a 3/4 sleeve between season (think Spring or Fall) top explores the combination of stockinette and a new technique I call ‘Brioche Insertion’ where a section of 2-color Brioche is inserted into the fabric. A slight A-line shape created by the different texture and contrast color cuffs and neckband complete the look. B Train Hat again uses my new Brioche Insertion technique, but this time the showy side out and worked in the round. Off the B-List is a diagonally knit stole or poncho, combining, you guessed it, bias knitting with 2-color Brioche. Sew it up or leave it as a stole, pick one muted and one sassy color. Wear it one way, then flip the reversible design over: this piece easily goes from office to night on the town!
