This playful cardigan is knit seamlessly from the top down, starting with the upper back. The back is knit to the armholes and then put on hold. Stitches are picked up from the cast on edge for the fronts, and they’re knit to the underarm. The body is joined in one piece when stitches for the under arms are cast on, and then it’s knit with some shaping at the waist and hips. Sleeves are picked up from the finished body, and the set-in sleeve caps are shaped using short rows. The full length sleeves are knit in the round with some shaping. The sweater is best worn with 0-3 inches of positive ease.
