Zig Zag Jumper
1940s Zig Zag Jumper
’A pretty stitch with lots of stretch’
The jumper has a lace zig zag stitch pattern and a slash neck with short sleeves which are slightly gathered at the top in a typical 1940s style.
MATERIALS
6-8 ozs of Patons Beehive Finger 3-ply (or modern equivalent)
A pair each of No. 11 (3mm) and No. 9 (3.75mm) needles
MEASUREMENTS
To fit size 34” - 36” bust.
Length from top of shoulders 19 inches, Sleeve seam 4 inches (short), 18 inches (long)
TENSION
7.5 stitches to an inch on 3.25mm needles
