This is a pattern for a pair of gloves worked in the round and from the cuff up and with a lace detail and optional ribbon addition.

Shetland 4ply by Gathered Sheep Yarns; Fingering; 100% Pure Shetland Wool; 233yds 213m / 55g
approximate yarn amounts:

needles:
2.25mm us no 1 DPNs 6in/15cm; set of 5
gauge:
28 sts x 44 rows = 4in/10cm measured over stockinette on smaller needles
approximate finished size:
knuckle circumference - 6 (7, 8, 8.25) in / 16 (18, 20, 21) cm
forearm - 10 (11.5, 12.5, 12.5) in / 26 (29.5, 32, 32) cm
wrist circ - 6 (6.75, 7.5, 8) in / 15 (17, 19.5, 20) cm
length to wrist - 9in / 23cm
You may easily adjust size by working with different needle size. Changing needle size may affect yarn amounts.

needle to weave in ends, st markers, st holder, 1m/1yd of 0.6 - 1 cm wide silk or linen ribbon (optional; sample used silk ribbon from Burnley & Trowbridge)
