Zazzles
I could go on for days about the many reasons these socks were so much fun to design. How the DK weight yarn and tiny stitch count make for a quick knit, the way the stitch pattern meanders in and out, giving way to a slipped stitch heel and dissolving into a simple stockinette foot, the subtle shading of the semisolid hand-dyed yarn… in the end, I will leave the words to my imaginary BFF, television’s Dr. Sheldon Cooper. I think he’d say, “They’re ZAZZY”.
This pattern was the winning entry in the Signature Needle Arts Fall Design competition, Socks category. It was available as a free download with purchase on the Signature Needle Arts Website until late 2011.
The pattern is now available from my Ravelry store.
