Zak Line
The sweater is knitted top-down with raglan increases.
The first part of the yoke is worked in stockinette stitch, with increases at both raglans and for the neckline, as well as short rows to raise the back of the neck.
The work is then joined in the round, and raglan increases and lace pattern are worked.
Once the raglan increases are complete, the sleeve sts rest, while you continue the lace pattern.
The body is worked according to the chart. The sweater is finished with a ribbed edge and closed off with an elastic bind-off.
The sleeves are knitted top-down in stockinette stitch and lace pattern and finished with a ribbed edge and an Italian bind-off.
Finally, sts are picked up along the neckline, and a ribbed collar is knitted, ending with an Italian bind-off.
The lines, clean surfaces, and interplay of patterns create depth and spark curiosity.
Thea Vesterby found the inspiration for Zak Line in Danish design classics. The many elements work together and create a stylish design expression.
