Thick, deeply sculpted cables adorn these striking stockings and trap warm air close to the leg for maximum coziness. The well-shaped foot will fit comfortably inside a snow boot (or keep you warm while lounging at home on a snow day). A wide ribbed cuff completes the upper edge and keeps the stockings in place.

Finished Size 8 (8.5, 9.25)“ foot circumference; 8.75 (9.5, 10.5)” long from back of heel to tip of toe; 11.5 (12, 12.5)“ leg circumference at top, relaxed; 26.5 (28.5, 30.5)” leg height. Stockings shown measure 8.5”.

Yarn Wendy Traditional Aran (100% British wool; 159 yd/3.5 oz): #180 cream, 6 (6, 7) skeins. Yarn distributed by Thomas B. Ramsden & Co.

Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4” in St st on larger needles.
