These mittens use the same cable pattern and handspun yarn as the Yuki Watari socks. You can choose between convertible mittens and regular mittens. Mittens are worked from the fingertips. Directions are written for the Magic Loop method. Cable Pattern is charted only. See page 3 for convertible mittens and page 4 for regular mittens. See pages 5-6 for charts. Video tutorial links are included.

YARN
200 m of sport weight yarn

Narangerel’s handspun yarn light (260 m/284 yds= 100 g, 100% Mongolian wool), snow white , 1 skein.
Notes: Suggestions for alternative yarns are included in the pattern.

GAUGE
21 sts & 36 rows = 10 cm / 4” in textured pattern with US 2 / 2.75 mm needle
30 sts = 10 cm / 4” in chart with US 2 / 2.75 mm needle

NEEDLE & NOTIONS
US 1½ / 2.5 mm, US 2 / 2.75 mm needle (x2 for convertible mittens), tapestry needle, stitch markers, waste yarn, cable needle
Notes: Adjust needle size to obtain gauge. Sample used 80 cm / 32” circular needle.

「雪渡りのくつした」とおそろいの模様と手紡ぎ毛糸を使ったミトンです。ミトンの形は作例と同じコンバーティブル・ミトン（指先カバー付き）と、普通のミトンの２タイプから選べます。ミトンは指先側から編み始めます。編み方は輪針のマジックループ式に合わせた解説で、模様編みは編み図で掲載されています。コンバーティブル・ミトンの編み方は3頁、普通のミトンの編み方は4頁を参照、チャートは5〜6頁を参照。
