Starting with a provisional cast on, this shawl is worked sideways using short row shaping. A row of eyelets seperates and defines the wedges. Stitches are then worked along the top (including the provisional cast on stitches) to create a wingspan edge. Then they are picked up along the bottom edge to work an eyelet pattern in a contrast yarn.
