Wrekin
Pronounced ree-kin, this is a simple button-up cardigan with 0 to 2 inches of ease, worked from the bottom up. While the hem, cuffs and collar are ribbed, the sleeves are worked top down and in the round with a cable pattern through the length of the sleeve.
To Fit: 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46, 48-50, 52-54)” or (72-77 (82-87, 92-97, 102-107, 112-117, 122-127, 132-137)) cm
Yarn: 6 (7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 11) balls of Garnstudio DROPS Baby Merino (191yds (175m), 100% merino, 50g) or approx. 1140 (1290, 1440, 1530, 1720, 1890, 2040) yds (1045 (1180, 1320, 1400, 1580, 1730, 1865)m) in Sport weight.
Needles: US size 6 (4mm) and US size 5 (3.5mm) circular needles. Use dpns or magic loop for sleeves.
Notions: Stitch markers = 7, stitch holders = 5, ¾” buttons = 6 or 7 depending on size.
Gauge: 25 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10cm) in st st with 4mm needles
32 sts and 40 rows = 4” (10cm) in rib with 3.5mm needles
Difficulty: Intermediate. Uses shorts rows and cables.
