Nothing is more effective for flattering and shaping every body type than a surplice wrap. The diagonal lines from neck to buckle and from buckle to hem elongate the silhouette, while soft pleats offer definition at the waist as well as a bit of cover-up. The waist and sleeve cuffs are worked in linen stitch, which provides welcome stability in this otherwise fluid blouse. The artistically offset diagonal lower front edges create sophistication; three-quarter length sleeves offer versatile comfort. The extraordinarily fine drape of the bamboo yarn is crucial for the success of this design. (Interweave)
