Woodfield Sweater
The Woodfield sweater is a modern take on a traditional tennis sweater that can be made in any yarn that knits at five stitches to the inch (worsted weight). This versatile pullover can be knit in a cotton yarn for the summer or a wooly yarn for the winter, and it looks just as good knit in one color. Pair it with a cute pair of jeans or dress it up with a chic skirt!
Finished Size: 34 ½” (38”, 42”, 46”, 49 ½”, 53”)
Gauge: 20 sts/4” in stockinette stitch on larger needle; 21st/4” in pattern on larger needles.
Needles: US 7 32” circular or longer or size to obtain gauge, US 5 32” circular or longer. The smaller needle should be 1 or 2 sizes smaller than the size needed to obtain gauge.
Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn with a recommended gauge of 20sts/4”. Some recommendations are Berroco Vintage, Berroco Ultra Alpaca, Berroco Modern Cotton, or Berroco Weekend.
