Welcome! And thank you for having a look at my new pattern Wonderland Socks!

This pattern has been created as a way to use a 13 mini skein countdown box.

These socks are a delightful combination of techniques that keep the project fun and engaging. No second sock syndrome here! Have fun with your fade colours and use up bits of leftovers for a truly stash busting and engaging knit.

The pattern comes with 3 sizes, a German Shortrow heel construction (or use the Fish Lips Kiss Heel) and tips and links to tutorials to help you on your way.

I have included two picture tutorials as well: magic knot (in pattern) and how I work the C4S, which is a separate pdf file. You can find it in the same area as the pattern pdf.

Note: An email update went out Nov 22, 2025, to everyone who had purchased the pattern up to that point. There was errata that was corrected. The current pattern version available for download is corrected. If you have an ‘update’ button for your pattern purchase be sure to update so you are working from the corrected pattern.

Skills Required
Twisted German Cast On, working in the round, working with multiple colours, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, short row heel construction, Kitchener Stitch.

Materials
Sample Yarn Used:
Alice in Wonderland: 13 Nights of Halloween Countdown Box, Fantasy Fibers Yarn Co, Enemies to Lovers Fingering 4-ply, 85/15 SW Extrafine Merino/Nylon, 87 yds/0.7 oz, 80 m/20 g.

Yardage: 340 (390, 420) yds/311 (357, 385) m TOTAL fingering weight yarn for a pair of socks. Yardage is an estimate and is impacted by yarn used, knitter’s gauge, length of sock foot and/or leg knitted.

Suggested Needles:
2.25 mm/US 1, 80 cm/32” length needle for magic loop for the stockinette stitch section OR size(s) needed to obtain gauge.
Darning needle.

Gauge: 38 sts and 52 rnds/10 cm or 4”, in the round, in stockinette stitch AND
46 sts and 66 rnds/10 cm or 4”, in the round, in pattern.

Sizes & Measurements:
US Shoe Size: Ladies 4-6.5, (Ladies 7-9.5/Mens 6-8.5, Ladies 10-12.5/Mens 9-11.5)

Size: 1, 2, 3

Ball of Your
