Wings of Lace Wrap
The ‘Swan Wings“ lace pattern makes a perfect lace edging for this asymmetrical wrap. The Fiber Seed Sock yarn drapes just enough for an elegant look, but a cozy feel. Just enough for a cool evening out and about.
It is easily adjusted to a smaller or larger width or length to meet anyone’s preference. Add more stitches to the stockinette section for a wrap that comes down closer to the waist, or add repeats of the lace pattern for a taller person. As it is not a real fitted garment and is easily adjusted, gauge is not real critical. Just make sure you like the fabric you are getting.
It was fun to knit; the lace section making it interesting while the stockinette section allowed for day dreaming about where to wear it.
I used about 1 3/4 skeins of the main color and almost the entire skein of the contrast color. Of course, color options abound: from using just one color, to making stripes if you desire.
I hope you enjoy.
