Willow Shawl
Willow Shawl is a lightweight, elegant accessory designed for any sock or fingering-weight yarn. Using approximately 850m (2 skeins) of hand-dyed 4-ply yarn, a simple repeating stitch pattern creates a graceful fabric that lets the yarn’s colour and movement shine.
The shawl begins at the narrow lower point and grows asymmetrically, with increases worked along one edge to form a soft, sweeping curve. Once the desired depth is reached, both edges are worked straight before the pattern transitions into a flared border panel that adds drama and balance to the finished piece.
This is an intermediate-level crochet pattern, with charts included to help clarify stitch placement and support confident, enjoyable making. Pattern is written in English and uses UK terms.
