Wild Rose Point
A ruffled, pointed doily, illustrated in color on back cover of Star Book 157. Pattern is named “Wild Rose Ruffle” in Star Book 228.
The pattern recommends vintage size 10 crochet cotton, 1 ball each white and shaded pinks (for border round) or “Puritan Star Spangled” crochet cotton, 3 balls silver spangle and 2 balls pink spangle. If made with the spangle (metallic twist) thread, the size increases to 21” diameter.
Size 7 steel hook. Published ca. 1950.
