Do you remember berry picking as a child? Those long hot summer days when it was a real treat to find a big old ripe patch of berries, and trying not to eat them as quickly as they were plucked off the branches. Then heading home proudly swinging a pail of berries with stained fingers to show for all your hard work.

Wild Berries is a new crescent-shaped shawlette designed by Michele Meadows, accentuated with a pretty lace border that transitions effortlessly into garter stitch with short row shaping. The cast off edging is a tiny row of berries lined up as a delicate edging across the neck and shoulders. This design is knit with two skeins of ‘grey granite’ hand painted merino by fabulous Ontario dye master, Rhichard Devrieze.
