IWhitsand Bay is a beautiful, shallow bay in South East Cornwall, with golden sand.

The Whitsand Bay shawl is worked from the hem up and shaped by short rows into a gentle crescent shape.

The shawl starts with a dropped stitch pattern and then moves into a lace diamond pattern while the garter stitch short row section features occasional, optional eyelet rows.

The crochet chain cast off is optional.
