Whispering Waves Shawlette
I took an antique lace pattern and modernized it by adding short rows to create a totally rounded curve, and make it possible to wrap around as a cowl too.
Start with the side-to-side border using the Ensemble Light, then pick up sts along shorter side using the Beaded Silk & Sequins Light to create the rolled collar.
Use only 200 yards of Ensemble Light in the side-to-side lace section, and a full skein of Beaded Silk & Sequins Light for the rolled collar.
Shown here in color 1004 which is actually a deep green brown, without a hint of grey. The photos of me wearing it is the best representation of the color.
