Louise Liao designed this gorgeous pattern originally in Chinese, and I have translated it and sized it and put it into detailed pattern format while knitting a version myself. Here are some details:

Materials Yarn A: Ensemble Light or Merino Cloud 3 (3, 4) sks in Multi (I used color 1059)
Yarn B: Beaded Mohair and Sequins 2 (2, 3) sks or Rhapsody Light 1 (1, 1) sk in solid (I used color 380)
Yarn C: Rhapsody Light 1 (1, 2) sks in solid
14 (16, 18) 3-cm round buttons

Needles Size 4 US (3.5 mm) or size to obtain gauge; Size 3 US (3.0mm) dpns for sleeve cuffs.
Sizes 34” (46”, 52”)
Gauge 6.5 sts and 8 rows = 1” in Lace Pattern (for swatching, use 1 repeat of the Lace Pattern 1 chart, the repeat should measure 2-1/2” wide x 2” tall
(before blocking)

Note:
This sweater is knit in 4 pieces. Front and Back are worked as 2 rectangles from the bottom up, starting with ribbing then continuing with Lace Pattern 1. Sleeves are worked from the bottom up as 2 rectangles starting with lace pattern. Sides are seamed using mattress stitch, then sleeves are seamed to each side. Then with the solid color of Rhapsody Light (yarn C) stitches are picked up along left sleeve, then along front of sweater, then along right sleeve and Lace Pattern 2 is worked. Stitches are bound off. Mirror image on back, where stitches are picked up along right sleeve, then along back of sweater, then along left sleeve and Lace Pattern 2 is worked. Stitches are bound off. Small buttons are sewn to fasten shoulders and sleeves approximately 2-3” apart.

Lucinda of Mont Tricot was kind enough to create some diagrams to show the construction.
