Pretty, light and lacy, the Whispering Pines Beret is worked in the round from the bottom up. It is made up of a lacy bead stitch and embossed leaf stitch pattern.
Designed to fit an adult head of 18” - 24”.
Materials
• 0.88 oz/25 g, 185 yd / 169m, 1 – 2 balls, lace weight yarn (yarn used in original design Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Lace Yarn 100% Pure New Wool, Shade L40)
• US size 1 x (2.5mm) 16” (40mm) circular needle
• US size 2 (2.75mm) 16” (40mm) circular needle
• US size 2 (2.75mm) double pointed needles (set of 4 or 5)
• Stitch marker(s)
