I’ve been wanting to stretch my design muscles and design a raglan sweater for a while now, so I thought starting small with a baby sweater would be a good idea. This baby cardigan has all the details in the shaping that an adult sweater would need, from short-row shaping to lower the front neck to compound raglan shaping through the shoulders.

The cotton yarn is soft and lightweight, making the finished cardigan as soft as a hug. The shaping is unisex, and it is worked in simple stockinette stitch, making for a quick and easy knit. Bonus points: no seaming! Some vintage buttons in a mix of colors adds a pop of whimsy to the finished piece.
