Top down construction, lacy pattern is provided in both charted and written form.
I’ve been busy with school and haven’t been designing a whole lot lately except for my dissertation research. Lately I was inspired. Here is the result. Enjoy!
About the rat: I’ve gotten so many comments/questions about the little friend helping to model the socks that I figured I’d update this. Her name is Matilda, she’s a hairless dumbo rat and belongs to my roommate. Sadly, though, my roommate had to euthanize her last night (5/18/08) because she was very old and sick, showing little chance for improvement. So sad, and only a few days after taking this photo…
Errata: When starting toe, you will have 33 stitches on instep and 32 on the sole. On first k round of toe, decrease one stitch at edge of insole leaving 32 stitches across insole then proceed in pattern as written.
