This is a GAUGE-FREE pattern. No where do we refer to the gauge. Knit to size with ANY GAUGE of yarn. Your choice. Dive into your stash and pick out a background colour of yarn and some odd balls to make the wedges. Work a Garter Stitch Wedge and then graduate to one of the 3 variations: Stockinette Stitch Wedges, Garter Ridges Wedges or Eyelet Wedges. Work any one or all of them. The Wedges get wider and wider as you work down the shawl and produce terrificly long tails that you can wrap around your neck. Enjoy.
