The Wavy Post Bucket Hat is a playful, textured bucket hat worked seamlessly in a continuous spiral from the crown down. It features a top-down construction, V-stitch and post-stitch textures, and flared brim for bounce and sun protection.

This pattern is beginner-friendly and forgiving with gauge. The top of the hat should measure approx. 17 cm / 6.75” across after Round 9. Finished hat (with brim) measures approx. 23 cm / 9” across.

You’ll need about 100 yards of medium weight (Size 4, worsted) yarn and a Size H (5.0 mm) hook.
The design works well with both solid and variegated yarns, and can be customized for size by adding or removing rounds or using lighter/heavier yarn.
