Warm Wishes is a seamless, comfortable, loose-fitting cardigan with pockets.
We start the work with a provisional cast on at the underarms and then work bottom up to the shoulders, the deep yoke is shaped with unusual raglan-like decreases.
Body and sleeves are worked top down from the provisional cast on.
The pocket linings are worked horizontally during finishing, and they are deeper than the pocket openings.

Gauge
17 sts and 25 rows = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit flat (yoke and body) with larger needle after blocking
17 sts and 25 rounds = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit in the round (sleeves) with larger needle after blocking
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Needles
· 80 cm/32” circular needle each size 4.5 mm/ US 7 and 4.0 mm/ US 6 (or size to obtain gauge)
· 40 cm/16” circular needle or double pointed needles (dpns) each size 4.5 mm/ US 7 and 4.0 mm/ US 6 for working in small circumference (or size to obtain gauge) (optional)

Notions
· waste yarn for the provisional cast on
· 1 stitch holder or safety pin
· 4 stitch markers
· 7 buttons with 3 cm/1¼” diameter
· 80 cm/32” and 40 cm/16” circular needle or double pointed needles (dpns) size 3.5 mm/ US 4 for the tubular bind off (optional)
