The Wallflower shawl pattern is the fourth design inspired by flowers. The earlier patterns include the Gloriosa, Daboecia, and Bessera shawl.

Add at least three patterns to your cart and enjoy an automatic 25% discount on your purchase.

Wallflowers are beautiful, four-petalled, sweetly scented blooms in bright colours such as yellow, orange, red, blue, and purple. They flower in early Spring, offering a splash of colour when there’s little else in bloom.

One main colour, along with two contrasting colours, was used for the sample. However, you have the option to use just one or several contrasting colours if you prefer. A whole skein of the main colour was used for the sample. If you run out of the main colour, omit the last section.

The pattern is charted and written out. It has been tech edited and test-knit. The shawl is knitted as a single piece in the mosaic stocking stitch, working back and forth in rows. The beauty of mosaic knitting is that it only uses one of the yarns at a time, while the other waits at the beginning of the round. All you need to know is how to knit, purl and slip stitches to create an intricate pattern.

The yarns used for the sample:
MC Malabrigo Yarn Sock, #845 Cirrus Grey
CC1 Black Elephant, Merino Silk Fingering, #multicolour
CC2 Encayarns Base Angel, #Ocean Blue
