Skill level: Easy
Material required:
372 yards variegated yarn
111 yards solid yarn (for the pom-pom)
3” x 4” piece of cardboard, or pom-pom maker
Waffle Weave is a stitch that forms a thick, stretchy, interlocking double layer of fabric. The interlocking of two layers produces a dimpled surface that looks like a waffle-iron print.
Annie’s Attic #871130, Crochet Compendium includes instructions & photos on the waffle-weave stitch, followed by the scarf pattern.
