• 4 patt reps = 3½in/9cm and 8 rnds = 4in/10cm over patt st worked in rnds (for the sleeve).

Note
Cardigan is worked in rows in one piece from lower edge to top, with openings for the armholes. Then, an edge of sc is worked around each armhole opening for the sleeves, which are worked in rounds down to the sleeve cuffs. This rows/rounds construction gives a slightly different gauge (see gauges) that are reflected in the finished measurements.

Stitchwork is the star of Ohrenstein’s jacket, crocheted in citrusy
SONATA SHIMA #1008 Sakado. A diamond pattern, worked using a repeating dc2tog stitch, creates the open eyelet fabric. The body is
worked seamlessly to the yoke; sleeves are picked up and worked
from the armholes. Single crochet trims the fronts and forms the
pointed collar.
