Vivid Feather dress is worked top-down, in the round.
A wide raglan panel is worked in moss stitch, with increases on both sides of the raglan panel. Once the full width has been reached, the yoke is divided into body and sleeves, and each section is worked separately.
The moss stitch raglan panels continue down the body as moss stitch side panels. Shaping of the waist is achieved through increases and decreases between these panels.
The skirt is finished with a wide moss stitch hem and an Italian bind-off.
The sleeves are worked top-down. At the end of the sleeve, one strand at a time is changed to a contrast colour to create a gradual colour transition.
Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline, which is worked in moss stitch and finished with an Italian bind-off.
