If you’ve ever had an ocular migraine, you’ve experienced something called a visual aura. A visual aura is a phenomenon characterized by seeing things like zigzags, static, or a kaleidoscope effect in your field of vision. This aura can be followed by a migraine headache, or not in cases of ocular migraine. The visual aura cowl was inspired by my patients’ descriptions of their visual auras. This mesmerizing cowl features moss stitching panels that alternate with cabled zigzag sections worked in the round.
