According to the pattern: The design of this topper consists of a clever combination of basic crochet stitches, such as chain loops, double crochet and treble stitches. The piece is worked in spiral fashion {that is, do not join each round}, so it’s a good idea to mark the beginning of each round with a bit of contrasting-color thread.
Stitches include chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet and picoted double crochet stitches.
