This shawl is worked in two colours from the top down, beginning with a garter stitch tab. The lace edging forms pleats, which are achieved with blocking. The edging instructions are both written and charted.
Materials:
Yarn: Colour 1 (C1) 220 (270) yards, Colour 2 (C2) 350 (400) yards fingering weight yarn.
Needles: US 5 / 3.75mm circular needle (80cm or longer)
Notions: 16 (18) stitch markers, tapestry needle.
Sizing:
Small: Depth 16 inches / Wingspan 46 inches
Large: Depth 18 inches / Wingspan 52 inches
