Viiva Hat
Viiva-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. The brim is shaped with short rows but if you wish, you can knit a straight brim.
Sizes
S (M) L to fit head size 50-52 (54-56) 58-60 cm/ 20 (22) 24 inches.
Yarn
100g of worsted weight yarn, approximately 210 m (230 yds) per 100g. The sample hat was knitted with Eco Cashmere DK (100% Cashmere of which 50% is recycled; 150 m/ 164 yds per 50 g). Note that Eco Cashmere knits up to worsted wt gauge despite the yardage.
Needles
3.75 mm/ US 5 circular needle or double-pointed needles for brim
4 mm / US 6 circular needle or needle size to obtain gauge
4 mm / US 6 double-pointed needles (or needle size to obtain gauge) for crown if not worked with the magic loop technique
Gauge
22 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in stockinette st on larger needles after blocking
