INSPIRATION
Self repeating yarns are favorites of mine - you don’t need complex stitches to show them off - simply work this wide rib shawl and bind off when you run out of yarn!
YARN
Any fingering weight (400 yards per 100gr skein) yarn. Self color repeat yarns, gradients and variegated are recommended. Several suggestions are:
 Kauni Effektgarn 8/2
 Schoppel-Wolle Zauberball
 madelinetosh tosh merino light
Sample shown uses 200 gr of yarn (about 800 yards), but you can stop anytime or make it longer if you have more yarn.
MEASUREMENTS
Wingspan: 90”
Depth: 20”
NEEDLES
US#6/4.00mm - 32”/80cm circular needles
TOOLS
One marker and tapestry needle for weaving in ends
GAUGE
24 sts per 4” with US#6/4.00mm needles. Gauge is not crucial but will affect the size of the shawl.
