Garter stitch and wide ribbing come together again—this time, in a subdued cardigan with a comfortable, easy fit for men or women. There is also a companion pullover.

Yarn Weight 4
Finished Size 35 (40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65)“ chest circumference, including 1” buttonband. Cardigan shown measures 40”; modeled with no ease.
Yarn Spud & Chloë Sweater (55% superwash wool, 45% organic cotton; 160 yd 146 m/3 ½ oz 100 g): #7524 chocolate milk, 7 (8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12) skeins. Yarn distributed by Blue Sky Fibers.
Needles Sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and 8 (5 mm): 32” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; nine 3/4” buttons.
Gauge 16 sts and 26 rows = 4” in K4, P1 Rib on larger needle, slightly stretched.
