Vanessa Cowl
About the Cowl: This cowl is knit in the round on 16”-circular needles as a tube. The cast on edge and the end are grafted together to form a seamless cowl. You can choose to make a one-loop cowl (27” circumference), a two-loop cowl (54” circumference), or a long 54”.

Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool (137yds/50g) in the following colors: 
MC: Wonderland Heather – 3 skeins 
C1: Papaya Heather - 1 skein 
C2: Red- 1 skein 
C3: Green Tea Heather- 1 skein 
C4: Avocado- 1 skein 
C5: Oyster Heather- 1 skein 
C6: Blossom Heather- 1 skein 
For those of you who are in the UK and can’t get Knit Picks Wool of the Andes I would suggest Cascade 220 Sport, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool (164yds/50g) in the following colors: 
MC: Anis 8908- 3 skeins 
C1: Flamingo Pink 7805- 1 skein 
C2: Christmas Red 8895- 1 skein 
C3: Citron 8910- 1 skein 
C4 – Primavera 8903- 1 skein 
C5 – Beige 8021- 1 skein 
C6 – Tutu 9477- 1 skein 
5 to 7 yards of scrap sport weight cotton yarn for the provisional cast on.
Needles 
US #5/3.75 mm, 16”-circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge 
A second #5/3.75mm, 16”-circular needle is needed for grafting the cowl together. 
Gauge 
6 sts/7rows = 1” in Stockinette stitch

Chart keeper would be helpful 
Crochet hook in same size as needle 
Scissors 
1 (or more) stitch marker
