FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
40 (44.5, 48.5, 53, 57)“ bust circumference Shown in size 44.5”

Shown in color no. 19. Requires 12 (13, 15, 16, 17) skeins in color no. 19 for full length version (pictured), or 10 (11, 13, 14, 15) skeins for cropped variation.Body is worked in pieces and seamed. Cowl collar is picked up from the neckline and worked in the round. The body pieces are worked in brioche st and the collar is worked in fisherman’s rib. Since the resulting fabric of the two stitch patterns is exactly the same, the knitter can use either method for working the body pieces and/or the collar. See briochestitch.com/patterns for more information.

To maintain the dimensional quality of brioche stitch or fisherman’s rib, do not stretch fabric when blocking. Brioche has a great deal of widthwise stretch, so if anything the wet pieces may need to be patted and scrunched down smaller to match the finished measurements. For the most accurate results, we recommend knitting and wet-blocking a large swatch before starting the pullover.

Pattern includes a selvedge stitch at each seamed edge. These selvedge stitches are included in the schematic measurements, but not in the finished bust measurement above.
