Some time ago my dear knitter friend maja-blue told me that her daughter has a friend who’s expecting a baby and she’d like to gift her a baby blanket. The problem was, she hadn’t found a pattern yet.
Mari asked me if I’d like to design a baby blanket in collaboration, my part would be the pattern writing and she would knit it up and photograph. The idea sounded fun and I said yes immediately.
The goal was to use up all the yarn she had for the blanket so I wrote a part of the pattern, she knitted it up and told me how much yarn was left. I wrote the next part etc. It was fun and we both love how it turned out.
The blanket is worked in the round from center out, repeating four identical triangle-shaped sections. The lace pattern is charted. The pattern is in English.
