I was inspired to knit this jumper because the acrylic school uniform sweaters you generally find in school uniform shops tend to give way at the elbows and cuffs very easily and do not wash very well. This hand made version should be warmer, more comfy and durable than most manufactured schools uniform sweaters.
however, you can also knit it to wear as part of your child’s non uniform wardrobe, as it is modern enough to wear over a t-shirt or polo neck and look very contemporary.
