Urban
This useful little double knitting slipover has been designed for season-round elegance. Knitted in the round for complete seamlessness, Urban features pretty side vents with optional button trim, a nice underarm ridge detail and integrated armhole borders. The neckband has been cleverly calculated for the ridge detail to follow straight through from the body on all sizes.
I really enjoyed making this top - it is simple enough to class as TV knitting, but there are lots of really nice touches which keep the knitting interesting and make for a beautifully elegant finish.
I love the drape of the Yarn Collective’s Bloomsbury DK, and was surprised that it took less than three skeins to make such a floaty garment. Definitely worth a try in a cotton or linen blend yarn for a versatile Summer cover-up - I can’t wait to see your projects loading up!
