Upper East Side
Winter time and Holiday gifting means: Hats!
I love knitting them. They are fast, they are fun, and they can be really colorful! However, I don’t usually like how they look on me, probably because I am afraid of wearing bright nice colors on the top of my head.
This year, during my first visit to NYC, it was really cold, and I was so jealous of the lovely stylish girls there who could wear a hat and look cool at the same time… So I decided to knit myself a slouchy black hat. A hat in a color that I could actually wear with all my clothes.
But, I needed to make it interesting, so I used a lovely stitch pattern, which also added lots of texture.
This little hat pattern comes in 3 sizes: The Small size will make for a snug cap, the Medium size for a loose hat, and the Large size for a very slouchy beret. I made mine using size Medium.
Make sure you check out our Ravelry group, we are having a Fall Knit-Along!
