Up North Afghan is a quick and easy knit in a super bulky weight yarn. This yarn weight creates a thick and cozy blanket that will keep you warm in the coldest temperatures. Simple textured Double Moss Stitch sections are relaxing to knit, while the Mosaic sections give just a little bit of challenge to make this a fun project that will fly off your needles. The slip stitches form an I-cord edge on the sides of the afghan, giving it a nice finish and a neat way to conceal the carried contrasting color yarn, as well as any yarn ends.
