Unchained Tunisian Hat
The fabric is soft, drapey, squishy. It looks Knit, It behaves like knit, and yet it is 100% crochet.
The technique is worked in the round, and will not translate to working flat.
The pattern has been tested by wonderful volunteers, who all had fabulous results.
This Pattern is listed as advanced, yet I will categorically state, a novice with determination can have great success with this pattern.
Also required for this design, A double ended Tunisian Crochet hook, 1.00mm larger than traditional hook used to obtain gauge listed.
It may be that confirming gauge is the most difficult part of the design!
I have been told there are other designers utilizing this technique. I have not located them or the designs. This is my work. I stumbled on this technique quite by accident. Visit my blog, where I will share the story.
